So ive been meaning to post this for a while. Funny story.
At work one afternoon we get in a shipment of shirts from Italy, like aeroitalia or whatever their mail service is called, we had never purchased from this manufacturer before so we had just gotten a sample pack of like 10 of their shirts. So we open the box/package and and this ziplock drops on the ground, and im like what the heckkk is this, there's like a miniature jam jar filled with light green rocks, and then little ziplocks with "sterling silver bits" thats what they were labeled i cant make that up, and little shards of metal, and then another baggy with random beads, and random painted ceramic pieces but they were mixed in with rusty italian beer bottle caps and other random stuff, so needless to say we were stumped as to why these bags of trinkets were in with our shirt, i thought maybe so they would reach a weight requirement, but for a box that had to go through customs you dont think they'de use rusty bottle caps and bits of metal to reach a weight requirement, so we had emailed the guy about it and he "apparently" had no idea what we were talking about and said they he didnt put any of that in their and that they must have put it in, in customs, which once again doesnt make sense. So we never did figure out what they are exactly and why they were put in with our stuff, but my boss was just gonna throw them away so of course I was like no way these little nick nacks are probably straight from milan( thats where they were shipped from) so I'm keeping my premium italian hand painted goods, well thats what i'm going with in what they are, So they are so bizarre and different that I obviously had to photograph them on put them on here. Some of them could definitly be used for jewlery and i also might make some kind of mosaic piece with some of them, I havent decided yet, so right now i have them displayed in a long narrow white tray in my room. So the pictures I took some with my retro cam app, and some just with the regular camera on my phone
so if anyone has ever seen pieces like this or knows why the heck they would be in our package comment and let me know :)
